vivo Ignite: Technology & Innovation Initiatives
With a mission to empower the next generation, vivo Ignite was launched to drive social change and support the country’s development by providing scholarships, innovation platforms, and mentorship, especially for female STEM students.
Our objective is to make Corporate Social Responsibility as one of the key focus areas to adhere to a strategy that focuses on making positive contribution to the society through high impact, sustainable programs.
vivo Ignite returns with its 4th Edition, expanding its reach to students from government schools and aspirational districts. The program invites participants to solve real-world challenges through tech-driven innovation across themes like Community Development, Software & Tech Innovation, Agriculture & Climate Change, and more. This year's highlights include:
- Focus on students from government schools and aspirational districts
- The Achiever 30 stage where participants will receive dedicated mentorship from domain experts, leading to the final Top 10 ideas.
- An INR 50,000 Teacher Innovation Fellowship for teachers of the Top 10 finalists
- Educational scholarships and rewards worth up to INR 35 lakhs*

In 2024, the T&I Initiative is back with its third edition and the hunt for India’s next changemaker has begun! Students from grades 8–12 across India are invited to tackle real-world challenges with tech-driven ideas. Themes include Software-Tech Innovations, Agriculture and Climate Solutions, Community Development Projects. Top 10 ideas’ participants will receive mentoring and workshop sessions from the Innovative Hub of IIT Madras and scholarships worth up to INR 35 lakhs*.
